ABOUT STEPHANIE CHANG

Stephanie Chang is a resident artist at the Peninsula Museum of Art, you can easily find her in studio 15. 

Pursuing her dream to be an artist, Stephanie went to Spain at age 17. Taking the opportunity Stephanie completed her studies on Velazquez, Goya and El Greco at La Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the guidance of Dr. Alonso Sanchez Perez, the Director of the Prado Museum, and visited major museums in Europe with friends. These two years enriched her knowledge and skills. 

Moving to the Bay Area, Stephanie received her BFA degree from the San Francisco Art Institute.  As a full-time painter, analyzing the subtle color change in nature and exploring new visual art forms are her daily working routine. Her aim is capturing truth in nature and sharing her art with people.
